Sewing has been a love of mine for years. These days it’s mostly keepsake cushions and blankets, made from the clothes that hold your memories — baby clothes, school uniforms, dance outfits and football kits. During Covid I branched out into scrunchies, headbands, Christmas wreaths and even clothes for my own children, alongside bunting from vintage and recycled fabric. Every keepsake is made from the clothes you send me — baby clothes, school clothes, dance clothes or football kits — so each one is completely unique. Message me on Instagram or Facebook to talk about yours — tap a photo to see it bigger.
How it works
Add items to your basket, then checkout when you're ready — you'll be sent to secure checkout to pay for everything in one go, with a single shipping charge. Once payment comes through, we'll get it packed up and posted out.

Hi, I'm Kirsty — thank you for visiting! I make everything at Roman and Kai by hand. My bunting and scrunchies are sewn from vintage and recycled material, so every piece is a little bit one-of-a-kind.
My keepsake cushions and blankets are made from the clothes you send me — baby clothes, school clothes, dance clothes or football kits you can’t bear to part with, turned into something you can keep and treasure for years to come. I’m always happy to take on special requests too.

Frequently asked questions
How do I place an order?
Add any in-stock items to your basket from the Shop tab, then tap Checkout. You'll be sent to secure checkout to complete payment for everything at once — once that's done, your order is confirmed.
How long until my order ships?
Everything's made and packed in small batches, so please allow a few days for your order to be prepared once payment is received. You'll be notified when it's on its way.
Do you ship internationally?
Message us on Instagram or Facebook before ordering if you're outside the UK, so we can confirm postage and pricing for your location.
How do keepsake cushions and blankets work?
